February. Sculpture proposal, “Exhibitionist” was chosen by popular vote to be created for the town of New Hope, PA as one of 25 entries into the PNC Bank sponsored NH Arts Outdoor Sculpture Contest.

December. The Philadelphia Photo Art Center chooses ‘Spiked’ – the Cira Center captured Photo Luminism style – to be displayed on a billboard Center City, Philadelphia in December. A total of 1561 pictures were submitted.
November. The Midweek Wire profiles Christopher and features Manhattan Veiled.
August. The Conrad Hilton Dubai purchases twenty four copies of Gold Wire on canvas.
June. The Hyatt Regency Chicago issues press release including details of Kennedy’s artwork:
“Hyatt Regency Chicago enlisted seasoned photographer and abstract artist, Christopher Kennedy, to generate unique Photo Luminism® artwork for display in the Grand Ballroom lobby. Kennedy creates abstract images using fixed sources of light as the paint and his camera as both brush and canvas. The image is printed directly onto sheets of lightly brushed aluminum, producing an almost three dimensional luminosity to the pictures.”
April. Five pictures purchased by Saker Aviation for the Downtown Manhattan Heliport. All will be displayed in their VIP lounge.
February. The Hyatt Regency Chicago purchases eight oversize Photo Luminism prints for the reception area of their Grand Ballroom as part of their $168 million refurbishment.
